The visitor game and dealing with conflict (in English)

Participants will briefly play the ‘Visitor Game’, as developed by Adrian Pilbeam at LTS Bath, and then discuss its potential for developing intercultural insight: how initial impressions can be misleading, how behaviour can be interpreted differently, how different rules can apply to the same situation, etc. The second part of the workshop will focus on ‘Conflict Resolution’ as developed by Jeremy Comfort of York Associates. Participants will attempt to resolve a Communication Breakdown and two Situations of Conflict and suggestions will then be offered on how to deal with conflict within a company.
