SEEKING BRAZILIAN SPECIALIST BASED IN ITALY FOR CROSS-CULTURAL TRAINING AND VIRTUAL COACHING
TCO International Diversity Management - one of Europe’s most experienced intercultural development organisations with an expanding portfolio of major clients - is looking for an associate intercultural trainer to join our network. The person must be specialised in Brazil and Brazilian business culture and would be engaged in future intercultural projects to be held both face-to-face and virtually.
Potential associates should have several years of experience as trainers, an inside knowledge of Brazilian business practices, coaching skills and must be located preferably in Italy (or at least in Europe). Furthermore, the person should be willing to be trained in the use of specific tools, training approaches and distance coaching skills which are shared within our network of associates. A knowledge of Italian would be a strong plus.

2nd Annual Intercultural Horizons Conference, on October 4-5, 2012, organized by SUNY Global Center 116 East 55th Street, New York
Submission Deadline: March 31, 2012
The State University of New York at Geneseo, Siena Italian Studies, and the Associazione Culturale Ulisse at the International Center for Intercultural Exchange are seeking proposals for Intercultural Horizons 2012: Intercultural Strategies in Civic Engagement, a conference dedicated to exchanging ideas, practices, and experiences in the development of intercultural competence. This conference is intended to explore “Intercultural Strategies in Civic Engagement” with educators and experts from a variety of perspectives examining the challenges and achievements of civic engagement in a global context and the evolving definitions of civic engagement in service learning and general education, with an emphasis on turning theory into practice.
Wellcome proposals are the ones from those interested or involved in intercultural education or exchange, from faculty and administrators to coordinators and counselors, as well as those active in the fields of service learning, language instruction, intercultural or cross-cultural communication, and international education.
